Matt Sorem is an associate who concentrates his practice in the areas of insurance coverage analysis and litigation. His practice focuses on general liability, professional liability, property, and reinsurance coverage. He has represented clients in multiple state and federal jurisdictions, as well as in arbitrations. Matt has also defended clients in litigation arising from real estate, professional malpractice, and employment disputes.

He received a J.D. from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2007. He was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Journal and represented Loyola’s moot court team in the American Bar Association’s Appellate Advocacy competition. He received a B.A. cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis.

Matt is admitted to the Illinois Bar and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association’s Insurance Law and Commercial Litigation committees.
